Friends of the Band
Recent ActivityThe Friends of the Band (FOB) is an organization formed to support and protect the Stonewall Jackson High School band program and to act as liason between the membership, Director of Bands, School Administration, and other school music organizations. As a parent or guardian of a band student or color guard member, you are automatically a member of the organization. The FOB provides support and funding to the band program through vigorous fundraising efforts, chaperoning of trips, competitions, and football games and other activities as deemed necessary to support the needs of the band program.

Tag Day Thank YouMany thanks to all of the Tag Day drivers who offered their time and vehicles resulting in a very successful day. The drivers this year included Rick Brock, Carolyn Walling, Ria Dietzel, Terri Gaither, Ben Wall, John Norton, Denise Smith. Hyon (Charlie) Connelly, Kristen Deneau, John Curtis, Meme Miller, Pier Connors, and Nancy Kulak. Another thank you goes our to our top chef, Mike Walling for grilling the hot dogs and hamburgers. Additional thanks goes out to all of the parents who donated food and to Valerie Cyrus, Revonda Wack, and Mere Maser for setting up and cleaning up breakfast and lunch and to Anne and Tim Incheck who counted all of the money. A final thank you to all of the parents who steadfastly support all of the band's efforts.
